At TGS2025, the gateway for indie game developers, the Grand Prize of Sense of Wonder Night 2025 was awarded to and Roger.
The highest honor, the Audience Award Grand Prix, was awarded to “and Roger” (Developer: TearyHand Studio) from Japan! The Audience Award Semi-Grand Prix went to “NearPinGO” (Developer: NearPinGO), also from Japan.
At SOWN2025, additional awards were also presented, including the “Best Technological Game Award,” “Best Arts Award,” “Best Experimental Game Award,” “Best Game Design Award,” and “Best Presentation Award.”
TearyHand Studio, the recipient of the Grand Prix, was awarded a prize of USD 3,000, while each of the other award winners received USD 500.

Pocky Award

The Pocky Award is selected by Pocky, the official TGS2025 Indie Game Ambassador (video creator), choosing titles they would like to play from among all 165 entries across “SELECTED INDIE 80” and “SENSE OF WONDER NIGHT.” Gameplay videos of the three winning titles will be published later on Pocky’s YouTube channel.

◼ What is “Sense of Wonder Night 2025 (SOWN2025)”?
Celebrating its 18th edition, Sense of Wonder Night (SOWN) is a pitch contest for outstanding game ideas that evoke a "Sense of Wonder"—a moment that makes people stop and feel as though their world has changed in some way. From among 165 submissions, including titles from the Indie Game Area exhibitors and the “SELECTED INDIE 80” chosen through a special screening process, eight finalist teams were selected by a panel of judges to present their works on stage.
