Total 117 exhibitors—the highest number ever—joined
this 14th Tokyo Game Show. Game Software companies, game software
development tools & middleware companies and game colleges
from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the United States, and China exhibited
more than 500 new video game software and game-related peripherals.
Many hot new video games and game software for the new portable
platforms which will debut soon or mobile phones with improved
game performance drew attention in the venue. More over, partly
because of increased number of overseas exhibitors, there were
many overseas visitors including the press in the venue. Partly
due to enrichment of the Kids’ Area, many family visitors
also visited the venue on public open days.
The next Tokyo Game Show will be held from September 16, Friday,
to September 18, Sunday, 2005.
