[Important Notice] Regarding the Events on September 20 (Sun) and 21 (Mon, Holiday) Due to the Approach of Typhoon No. 25

As Typhoon No. 25 approaches the Japanese archipelago, we have carefully considered the latest weather information and the potential impact on public transportation regarding the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, scheduled for Sunday, September 20, and Monday, September 21 (a national holiday). As a result of this review, we have made the following decision and would like to announce it.

■September 20 (Sun): Event will be held as scheduled

The event will take place as scheduled on Sunday, September 20.

However, depending on future weather conditions and the situation around the venue, we may need to make changes to or cancel certain facilities or activities to ensure safety. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Please note that since the event will proceed as scheduled, we will not issue refunds for tickets purchased for Sunday, September 20.

Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast for the day of the event. We ask that all attendees check the latest weather forecasts and public transportation schedules, exercise the utmost caution for their safety, and allow plenty of time for their journey. We sincerely look forward to seeing you there.

■September 21 (Mon., holiday): Event canceled

Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 25 on Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), winds and rain are expected to intensify in the afternoon, raising concerns about potential disruptions to public transportation. Therefore, prioritizing the safety of all attendees, exhibitors, and staff—as well as ensuring everyone can return home safely—we have decided to cancel the event for the entire day.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to attending the event for having to make this announcement.

We will issue refunds for tickets purchased for Monday, September 21 (a national holiday).
Please check the instructions provided by the ticket vendor where you purchased your tickets for refund procedures. We will also post an announcement on the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 official website as soon as the details are finalized.

Additionally, regarding some of the stage events scheduled for Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), we are working to arrange for them to be streamed online as part of the official program, pending confirmation of the venue’s safety conditions.

We will announce whether the streams will take place, along with their content and broadcast times, on the official website and official social media channels as soon as these details are finalized.

At the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, we will continue to prioritize the safety of all attendees, exhibitors, performers, staff, and everyone else involved in this event, and we will work closely with relevant parties to implement the necessary measures.
Depending on the typhoon’s path and public transportation conditions, new announcements may be issued in the future. We ask that all those planning to attend please check the official website and official social media channels for the latest information.
